Notices of Election for the Derbyshire County Council (South Derbyshire Divisions) and the Drakelow Parish Council Election have now been officially published.

Key Dates & Application Deadlines

Poll cards dispatched	Wednesday 26th March 2025
Registration application deadline	Friday 11th April 2025 (midnight)
Postal vote application deadline	Monday 14th April 2025 (5pm)
Proxy Vote application deadline	Wednesday 23rd April 2025 (5pm)
Voter Authority Certificate application deadline	Wednesday 23rd April 2025 (5pm)

Postal Vote Despatch Dates

Postal vote packs will be sent out in two batches.

For existing postal voters, plus new applications approved by Tuesday the 18th of March 2025 - your postal vote pack will be sent out in batch 1 on Monday 14th of April 2025.

For applications received between the 18th of March 2025 and 5:00pm on the 14th of April 2025 – your postal vote pack will be sent out in batch 2 on Tuesday 22nd of April 2025.

Please apply as soon as possible if you require a postal vote.
